§ 1-404. Improper use of county symbols and penalty for improper use.

  • (a) Improper use. A person must not use the county coat of arms, flag, or seal to indicate that a person is acting in an official capacity on behalf of the county unless the person is acting in an official capacity on behalf of the county.
    (b) Penalty. If a person violates subsection (a), the county may prosecute the person for a class A violation. (1987 L.M.C., ch. 35, § 1.)
