§ 23-10. Same-Penalty for possession of lottery ticket, etc.

  • If any person shall within the county have in his possession, knowingly, any ticket, certificates, bill, slip, token, paper, writing or other device used or to be used, or adapted, devised or designed for the purpose of playing, carrying on or conducting any lottery, or the game or device commonly known as policy lottery or policy, he shall be subject to punishment for a class A violation as set forth in section 1-19 of chapter 1 of the County Code. Each day a violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense. (Mont. Co. Code 1965, § 10-10; 1933, ch. 258, § 413B; 1983 L.M.C., ch. 22, § 25.)
