§ 32-5. False reports to police; penalty.

Any person who shall make or cause to be made to any officer or member of the Montgomery County division of police protection a false or fictitious report of the commission of any criminal offense or any other matter which the division of police protection is required by law to investigate, knowing such report to be false or fictitious, shall be subject to punishment for a class A violation as set forth in section 1-19 of chapter 1 of the County Code.
