§ 35-18. County's right of subrogation against third parties causing disability.

  • If the accident, disease, disability, or death for which benefits are payable under this Article was caused under circumstances creating a legal liability in a third party, the County has the right of subrogation and may enforce, for the County's benefit, the legal liability of a third party, under the conditions and subject to the provisions, when applicable, in Title 9 of the Labor and Employment Article of the Maryland Code. Nothing in this Section affects the County's obligation to comply with Title 9 of the Labor and Employment Article of the Maryland Code. (Mont. Co. Code 1965, § 18-20; , § 1.)
