§ 68-7. Authority of council to abolish district and amend or repeal provisions relating thereto.

  • The county council for Montgomery County be and it is hereby authorized and empowered to abolish, by resolution of the county council, the special tax area or district in Montgomery County known as "the Montgomery County Suburban District," as created by chapter 692 of the Acts of 1927, and as may have been amended from time to time thereafter, and the county council be and it is further authorized and empowered to repeal or amend, by resolution thereof, such of the provisions of the Montgomery County Code, being also article 16 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland, as may pertain to the district and the regulation, administration, management or government thereof or in any manner relate thereto.
