  • (a) When the time for any action ends on a Saturday, Sunday, or “State Holiday,” the time will be deemed extended to the next business day.
    (b) Within fifteen (15) days of the mailing of notice to parties setting the hearing date, the Staff may reschedule the hearing after receipt of an unopposed request.
    (c) Except as otherwise prohibited herein or by law, upon request of a party or the Staff, for good cause shown the Panel Chairperson may extend the time for performance of any act hereunder.
    (d) Settlement
    (1) Notwithstanding any limitations provided above, within twenty-four (24) hours of the hearing time, the Panel Chairperson may grant a continuance of the hearing upon joint request stating that the parties are close to settlement.
    (2) The Panel Chairperson may delay the beginning of the hearing for one hour for the purposes of ongoing settlement discussions.
    (3) At the conclusion of the delay period, the Panel Chairperson may continue the hearing upon joint request of the parties, or the hearing shall proceed as scheduled.
    (4) At the hearing, the Panel Chairperson will set a new date for the parties to reconvene if a continuance of the hearing is granted or if an additional session is required.
